Behind the Lens
Self-portraits from between the shoots — the photographer, off duty.
PROJECT NOTE
Behind the Lens turns the camera back toward the photographer. The images come from different moments and places—waterfront, monumental city architecture, a graffiti-covered wall—but they share the looseness of photographs made between assignments rather than for them. Cameras remain visible, sometimes almost as props, while clothing and setting change freely. The series works as a small personal archive: less a formal self-portrait project than a record of the person who usually stays outside the frame.
